Paige Thomsen, RD (she/her)
Both virtual and in-person available
Paige started her career as a Registered Dietitian in 2018 after completing her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and dietetic internship through the University of Alberta. She has worked in a variety of care settings with an extensive focus in First Nation communities, including chronic disease management and community health programming.
Recognizing how each client’s identity and experiences impact their health behaviours, Paige is strongly committed to decreasing the stigmatization of marginalized identities across the nutrition field in the pursuit of health equity. Paige compassionately supports those seeking to balance their busy lifestyles with their health. This includes incorporating a comprehensive approach to her counselling including mindful eating, intuitive eating, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and interactive meal support.
She will help you build long-term skills to aid in your health goals and relationship with food. She believes that living at peace with food and our bodies is when we can truly be our most authentic selves. Outside of work, Paige is very active. She completed her first half marathon in 2021 and enjoys hiking, hockey, baseball, and climbing. To relax, she’s recently started portrait drawing of friends, family, and celebrities. Above all else, you will recognize she has a deep passion for new food and sandwiches.
